A productive classroom allows for students to be creative and curious and safe.

Rules that apply in my classroom:
1.  Honor everyone's identity, whether they're in the room, or not.
2.  You don't have to like everyone, nor agree with their beliefs, but keep your negativity and distaste to yourself.
3.  Honor and respect the classroom, your classmates, your teacher, and yourself.
4.  Show up on time, ready to teach and learn.  Be prepared.  Help yourself at the student table to eliminate excuses.
5.  Do your best.  Work hard.  Aim to get the most out of your learning.

As an educator:
1.  Don't talk over kids.  Wait for them to stop and listen to you.
2.  Make sure they're not talking over each other.  Honor everyone's voice.
3.  Walk around.  Listen to dialog.  Pick out thoughts and discussions worthy of sharing with the whole class.
